Cheney (Chi) Xu joined IBM IP Law in 2008 and is now the lead and Senior Counsel of IBM GCG and Asia Pacific IP Law. Cheney manages IBM GCG and AP IP Law department and is responsible for all IP law matters in mainland China, Hongkong, Taiwan, Macau, Korea, India, ASEAN, and Australia. He has obtained bachelor’s degree on Electronic Engineering, Master’s degree on Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering, Master’s degree on Law from Tsinghua University and LL.M from Temple University. Cheney is qualified as both China Patent Attorney and China Attorney-at-Law.
